Leeds RAG Fashion Show

Silver Sponsor — Deliveroo

We are delighted to be partnering with the award-winning food delivery service ‘Deliveroo’ as our 2019 Silver Sponsor. The Deliveroo website and app offers customers a range of local food options that can be conveniently delivered to their home or work.

As part of Deliveroo’s promotion with the Leeds RAG Fashion Show, we have hosted two extremely popular pop-up food stalls which provided hundreds of University students with a free lunch! This gave Deliveroo’s restaurants the opportunity to engage directly with the student demographic, promoting both Deliveroo as a fast and convenient service and some of the best dishes offered by their providers. At our events, food was provided by Wagamamas and Pizza Express.

In addition to these promotional events, Deliveroo are the generous providers of the catering for our VIP reception on the night of the fashion show. Stay tuned to see what they will be serving up to our premium ticket holders…

Teach First

Young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in this country are being let down by one of the most unfair education systems in the developed world, and the knock-on effect of this injustice lasts a lifetime. It’s a cycle Teach First are determined to break, but they need your help.

Teach First’s two-year Leadership Development Programme, will support you to become a qualified teacher through a fully-funded Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Leadership. By training on the job, you'll have an immediate impact on the lives of young people who need you the most.

And, whether you choose to remain in the classroom or pursue another career after the programme, you’ll benefit from Teach First’s influential network of organisations and businesses who share their commitment to ending educational inequality and value the skills and experience our participants gain.

Their undergraduate programmes — Taster, Inspire and Brand Manager — allow you to get an insider’s view of their ground-breaking work while you’re still at university. You’ll develop your personal and professional skills, learn more about educational inequality, and start making a difference to the most disadvantaged young people in the country.
